Dezember und etwaige erwirtschafteten Ertr\u00e4ge aus dem Handel mit Kryptow\u00e4hrungen k\u00f6nnen ab dann nicht mehr beeinflusst werden. Der Linzer Kryptosteuerexperte Blockpit empfiehlt, sich das eigene Portfolio noch einmal genau anzusehen, um Fallstricke zu vermeiden, eine etwaige Steuerschuld zu minimieren und bares Geld zu sparen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Linz | In knapp drei Wochen geht das Steuerjahr 2020 zu Ende. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blockpit.io\">Blockpit<\/a>, der \u00f6sterreichische Experte f\u00fcr rechtskonforme Herkunftsnachweise auf den Handel mit Kryptow\u00e4hrungen und Digitalen Assets empfiehlt deshalb Besitzern von Kryptow\u00e4hrungen, sich noch vor dem Jahresende das eigene Portfolio genau anzusehen und sich mit den steuerlichen Auswirkungen der in 2020 get\u00e4tigten Trades zu besch\u00e4ftigen. \u201eKryptow\u00e4hrungen wie Bitcoin &amp; Co haben heuer teilweise stark zugelegt. Kurz vor Ablauf der aktuellen Steuerperiode ist noch Zeit zu handeln, um Fallstricke zu vermeiden und seine eigene Steuerlast zu optimieren. Hier kann man bares Geld sparen\u201c, sagt Florian Wimmer, CEO von Blockpit. Zwar gilt als Abgabefrist f\u00fcr die Steuererkl\u00e4rung 2020 in \u00d6sterreich erst der 30. Juni 2020 (D: 31.07.2020), mit Steuerberater sogar eine verl\u00e4ngerte Abgabefrist bis Ende April 2022 (D: Februar 2022), aber es gilt zu beachten, dass das Steuerjahr 2020 mit dem 31. Dezember endet und etwaige erwirtschafteten Ertr\u00e4ge nachtr\u00e4glich nicht mehr beeinflusst werden k\u00f6nnen. Blockpit r\u00e4t zu folgendem Vorgehen:<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Verluste realisieren oder Umschichten<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Auch wenn 2020 f\u00fcr Kryptow\u00e4hrungen definitiv ein Jahr der Gewinne war, k\u00f6nnte es f\u00fcr einige trotzdem vorkommen, dass der falsche Einstiegszeitpunkt gew\u00e4hlt wurde und sich das eigene Portfolio im Minus befindet. Aus steuerlicher Sicht ist es in \u00d6sterreich m\u00f6glich, diese Verluste zu realisieren und damit die Steuerlast f\u00fcr dieses Jahr zu senken (in Deutschland kann man hierdurch sogar Steuern zur\u00fcckholen, die f\u00fcr das letzte Jahr gezahlt wurden).<\/p>\n<p>Kurzfristig lohnt es sich unter Umst\u00e4nden auch in eine andere Kryptow\u00e4hrung umzuschichten, wenn man innerhalb der einj\u00e4hrigen Spekulationsfrist verkauft. Wurde die Kryptow\u00e4hrung jedoch bereits l\u00e4nger als ein Jahr gehalten, k\u00f6nnen leider weder Gewinne noch Verluste realisiert werden. Es ist auf jeden Fall zu beachten, dass die Haltedauer der ver\u00e4u\u00dferten Kryptow\u00e4hrungen durch das Umschichten endet und die Spekulationsfrist somit wieder bei Tag 1 beginnt. Man sollte also abw\u00e4gen, ob der Steuerspareffekt ein Beenden der Spekulationsfrist rechtfertigt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACHTUNG:<\/strong> Gewinne oder Verluste aus z.B. Margin-Trading oder Security Token k\u00f6nnen nicht mit jenen aus Kursgewinnen durch Bitcoin &amp; Co. gegengerechnet werden, da diese in verschiedene Steuerkategorien fallen. Tats\u00e4chlich kann man diese aber mit Ertr\u00e4gen aus eventuell vorhandenen Aktiendepots ausgleichen. Es gilt also zu beachten, in welcher Steuerkategorie sich die Gewinne\/Verluste befinden, die man ausgleichen m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Liquidit\u00e4t sichern\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Gerade bei Krypto-zu-Krypto Trading k\u00f6nnen Steuern auf Gewinne anfallen, auch wenn nicht zur\u00fcck in EUR gewechselt wurde. Es kann unter Umst\u00e4nden also dazu kommen, dass Steuern auf Gewinne zu zahlen sind, obwohl das n\u00f6tige Geld in Euro auf dem Konto fehlt. Dies kann im schlimmsten Fall dazu f\u00fchren, dass die gehaltenen Kryptow\u00e4hrungen zu einem ung\u00fcnstigen Kurs verkauft werden m\u00fcssen, um die angefallene Steuerschuld begleichen zu k\u00f6nnen. In \u00d6sterreich kann dies sogar zu einer Privatinsolvenz f\u00fchren, da hierzulande die M\u00f6glichkeit fehlt, \u00fcber das Steuerjahr hinweg gegenzurechnen und eine Steuerlast auf etwaige Gewinne abgef\u00fchrt werden muss, selbst wenn sich das eigene Portfolio stark im Minus befindet.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Steuerschuld pr\u00e4ventiv kontrollieren<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Laut Blockpit ist es sehr wichtig auch bereits w\u00e4hrend des laufenden Jahres die eigene Steuerschuld stets im Auge zu behalten. Es fallen nicht nur Steuern an, wenn Bitcoin in Euro getauscht wird, sondern auch, wenn Kryptow\u00e4hrungen und Token untereinander getauscht werden oder sogenannte Rewards aus Staking oder \u00e4hnlichem erhalten wurden. Daher kann sich unterj\u00e4hrig eine Steuerschuld aufbauen, ohne, dass man es selbst direkt mitbekommt. Beim traditionellen Aktienhandel \u00fcber die Hausbank wird diese Steuerschuld automatisiert gemeldet und abgef\u00fchrt. Ein tagesaktueller \u00dcberblick \u00fcber realisierte und nicht realisierte Gewinne oder Verluste sowie die Haltedauer der einzelnen Digitalen Assets kann somit dabei helfen, stets steueroptimierte Trading-Entscheidungen zu treffen.
